Afshin’s History

Nikki Vernelli ARNP
Medical School:
Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine

Philosophy of Care:
My philosophy of care is simple. I consider each person unique from physical to social and emotional health. My ultimate goal is to guide the patient to obtain the best care possible in order to increase their functional capacity.

Medical Interests:
My medical interests are broad and that is why I have chosen the full spectrum family medicine. I am interested in patient’s health from acute to chronic conditions, from wound care to pain management, manipulative medicine, women’s health, mental health, as well as variety of procedures.

Personal Interests/Hobbies:
My hobbies and interests are as broad as my medical interests. Why limit yourself to cities when you can have earth as your playground? Life is precious and limited so I like to enjoy it as much as possible. Beside the many outdoor activities that I like to do, I like to spend time with my wife and kids as they are truly the ultimate joy in my life.
What drew you to CHCW:
Central Washington (Ellensburg) is unique that it can provide rural family medicine training which has continuity throughout all of the residency years. This can prepare me to practice in any place and any settings. Beside the excellent training, there is natural beauty and abundant outdoor activities.
