Orientation: I believe that negative emotions are a part of life, serve to alert us when our life is off balance & when we are moving away from what’s most important. I strive to teach individuals skills to stay connected & engaged while navigating life’s inevitable challenges.
What draws you to primary care? My passion for increasing access to behavioral health services, reducing mental health stigma, & motivating individuals to live a more meaningful life
What keeps you at CHCW? The supportive work environment, importance given to behavioral health by all team members including leadership, enthusiastic team members, & the organization’s mission to provide quality healthcare through service & education
What do you like about the Yakima area? The short commute to work, hiking areas nearby, & the all the food/fruit, beer, & wine options
What do you do for fun? Running, hiking/backpacking, road cycling, yoga, baking, spending time with loved ones & trying to keep my two German-shorthaired pointers active
