What do you enjoy most about working with children and families?

I enjoy getting to know patients and their families, hearing their stories, and helping in whatever way I can. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is watching children grow and, over time, seeing them return as adults raising families of their own.

How would you describe your approach to pediatric care?

My approach is rooted in building long-term relationships and taking the time to listen. I value meaningful conversations and believe that understanding each family’s story is an important part of providing thoughtful, compassionate care.

What’s one thing you want caregivers and patients to know when they come to see you?

I want families to know that I genuinely enjoy taking the time to talk, listen, and connect. Whether I’m caring for a child or chatting with a grandparent bringing in their grandchild, every visit matters to me.

What makes CHCW’s Yakima Pediatrics special to you or your patients?

Yakima Pediatrics feels special because of the lasting relationships formed over the years. I’ve had the privilege of caring for multiple generations of families, which creates a deep sense of trust and continuity in care.

When you’re not at the clinic, how do you like to spend your time?

When I’m not in the clinic, I enjoy being outdoors—walking or hiking on the many wonderful trails nearby. On rainy days, I love reading and getting lost in a well-written story
