Experience:

I’ve worked in pediatrics for years and have a prior background in dental community health.

Hobbies:

I enjoy reading, fishing, camping, crafting, music and singing.

Philosophy of Care:

As a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, I believe that the foundation of exceptional care lies in the power of collaboration. My philosophy of care centers around shared decision-making, where I actively engage families in their child’s healthcare journey, ensuring that every voice is heard. I prioritize evidence-based care to provide the most effective and up-to-date treatments, while always creating a safe and open space for discussions. I believe in fostering trust with families, allowing them to express their concerns and hopes while empowering children to reach their fullest potential as they grow.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy spending time in nature, where I can recharge and find inspiration. My hobbies include kayaking, hiking, backpacking, and fishing. I also love reading, watching movies and attending family gatherings. I have a deep love for music: I thoroughly enjoy musicals, concerts, singing, plays and anything music-related.

I aspire to..

Become a member of my work family and treat patients holistically; encouraging family participation.

Why do you want to work for CHCW?:

I grew up as a patient of a community health center for years and truly believe in the medical home model with access to care for all children regardless of financial resources. This continuity of care for children and families is essential for positive health outcomes. I’m so excited to be here!
