Central Washington Family Medicine Residency (CWFM-R) is in search of a full time Hospitalist to join our team. You will be responsible for providing hospital care medical services to CHCW patients and provide teaching services to the Residents while performing the duties of the Family Medicine Service (FMS) Hospitalist at Multicare Memorial Hospital in Yakima, WA. You will lead the healthcare team to promote good health and prevent/treat illness and maximize function to our patients. Our highly collegial team of Providers bring integrated services to a diverse group of patients with the greatest care and respect.
While working as our Hospitalist, you will work 7 days every other week. Nocturnist will be considered. While working as our nocturn Hospitalist, you will work 7 nights every other week. You will also participate in y call equal to 30 weeknights/weekdays and 10 weekends during the year.
Qualified applicants have graduated from an accredited Medical School and Residency Program and be Board Certified. Must have or be able to obtain WA State Medical License, DEA, BCLS and ACLS. Prior teaching experience is required. FQHC/CHC experience, experience working with medically underserved populations, and experience working on an inpatient medicine service or completion of a hospitalist fellowship is preferred. No restriction from participation with the Medicaid or Medicare programs and the ability to obtain credentials from appropriate health plans and to be covered by CHCW malpractice liability carrier is required. Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus. Applicants requiring a work visa will be considered. Sign on bonus.
