CHCW’s Connect Program is designed to successfully treat opioid addiction and dependence. Our dedicated team upholds a mission to provide a compassionate, comprehensive, holistic approach that supports patients in their journey with opioid addition and dependence by providing medication and behavioral health interventions.
CHCW is adding a Medical Director to oversee our Connect Program. You will be responsible for all aspects of clinical management and oversight of Medication Assisted Treatment of Opioid use Disorder and lead the development and implementation of chronic opioid therapy and medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) registries. You will be key in the education of CHCW Providers, including Resident Physicians and interested outside parties on the Connect Program’s substance use disorder treatment programs and support coordination of care with outside partners. You will be a part of the clinical care team including adjunctive primary care services as appropriate.
Qualified applicants will have graduated from an accredited Medical school and Residency in either Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Preventive Medicine, or Psychiatry. Addiction Medicine Certification is preferred. Two years prior experience (including training) as a Physician in Addiction Medicine, specifically with experience in both opioid use disorder and medication assisted treatment within a Primary Care, Inpatient or Residential Care setting is required. Prior leadership roles are highly desirable.
