New Family Practice Physician Joins CHCW’s Ellensburg Clinic

Dr. Micahlyn Powers, MD, will start seeing and treating patients at the clinic next week

 

micahlyn-powersYAKIMA, WA – Community Health of Central Washington – Ellensburg (CHCW-E) is pleased to announce that it has added Dr. Micahlyn Powers, MD, to its medical services team as a family practice physician.  Dr. Powers is a graduate of University of Washington School of Medicine and recently completed her residency in family medicine at Family Medicine Residency of Idaho.

 

Dr. Powers will be offering medical care, including obstetrics, at CHCW’s Ellensburg site.    She will maintain a program of comprehensive health for the entire family.

Dr. Powers holds a bachelor of arts in English language and literature from the University of Washington.  In addition, she received her medical doctorate degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine.  Dr. Powers also has intensive volunteer medical experience abroad, volunteering in international rural communities – including Honduras, Romania and Bulgaria.

 

She will begin her new position on August 26th and will be seeing existing and new patients at CHCW-E located at 521 East Mountain View Ave, Ellensburg.
