Open enrollment starts November 1st. Visit Washington Healthplanfinder at www.wahealthplanfinder.org to select a health or dental plan by December 15th to get coverage that begins January 1st. New this year – all Washingtonians, regardless of citizenship status, will have opportunity to shop for and purchase qualified health and dental plans for 2024

Key Dates

Now through Oct. 30th, all Washingtonians can preview and compare plans available in 2024.

Open enrollment is Nov. 1st, 2023, through Jan. 15th, 2024. For coverage to begin by Jan. 1st, 2024, enrollment must be completed by Dec. 15th.

The Exchange’s Customer Support Center will be closed, and the Washington Healthplanfinder website will be down on Oct. 31st, as we load plans for open enrollment, beginning Nov. 1st.

Resources

Washington residents seeking health insurance on the individual market or Medicaid can visit wahealthplanfinder.org now through Oct. 30th to preview plan offerings and price points.

Many Washington Healthplanfinder customers will benefit from savings if they renew in or switch to a Cascade Care Silver or Gold plan during open enrollment.

Navigating health insurance options can be complicated and challenging. In addition to shopping on-line at wahealthplanfinder.org, customers can call the Customer Support Center at 1-855-923-4633, for remote support in multiple languages, or be connected with an in-person assister or broker in their community.

• Ask the call center or visit Support in Your Area to find an in-person assister near you. Washington Healthplanfinder’s Customer Support Center will have extended hours during open enrollment.

The center will be open and ready to aid customers from 7:30 a.m.–7 p.m., Monday through Friday; closed on the weekends and holidays.

These hours go into effect Nov. 1st, 2023, and end Jan. 31st, 2024. The following adjustments were made to the center’s schedule; extended hours are subject to change:

  • Dec. 15th, 7:30 a.m. to midnight
  • Dec. 16th, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Jan. 14th, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Jan. 15th, 7:30 a.m. to midnight

Closed the following days:

  • Nov. 24th-25th Thanksgiving and Native American Heritage Day
  • Dec. 25th – Christmas Day
  • Jan. 1st – New Year’s Day

Reminders: Enrollment is offered year-round to individuals and families through Washington Apple Health (Medicaid). Customers enrolled in Apple Health will receive a notice of 60 days before the month they enrolled in or renewed their coverage last year.
