Marj-Henderson,MDDr. Marjorie Henderson, MD, joins team to serve patients currently residing in residential care facilities

YAKIMA, WA – Senior and Residential Care Program (SRCare), a service of Community Health of Central Washington (CHCW), is pleased to announce that it has added Dr. Marjorie Henderson, MD, to its medical services team a physician providing care to patients residing in residential care facilities.

Henderson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition from the University of Idaho, Moscow, and medical degree for the University of Washington’s School of Medicine.  In addition, she completed her residency in internal medicine primary care and also physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Washington.  During her career in Yakima she has been the director of both inpatient rehabilitation and skilled nursing at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center.  Henderson serves as an adjunct faculty member for Pacific Northwest University College of Osteopathic Medicine and an instructor of family medicine at Central Washington Family Medicine Residency (a service of Community Health of Central Washington).

Henderson has over 30 years of medical experience working within rehabilitation and elder care in our Valley.  In her new position she will be providing medical management to patients residing in long-term care facilities.
