Please welcome Kaitlin Todd to CHCW-E. Kaitlin Is the newest members of our WIC Team. Kaitlin will take on the role of WIC Coordinator.

Education
I have a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutritional Sciences from Seattle Pacific University and completed my Dietetic internship at Baylor University in Dallas, TX.

Experience
I began my career as an AmeriCorps VISTA with Share Our Strength Cooking Matters program at the North Texas Food Bank. I continued my work ant the Food Bank Gaining Experience with after school, weekend and summer feeding program for kids. Upon returning to WA in 2010, I worked in clinical settings in Wenatchee and then Se-attle, providing inpatient and outpatient nutrition counseling and education. I circled back to public health and food service in my last position as Operations Manager for the Community Dining program at Sound Generations in King County. I’m excited to join the CHCW WIC team and support our youngest community members and the people who raise them!

Hobbies
Quilting, sewing, embroidery, Michael Schur TV shows, sharing coffee/food/stories with friends and family, and dance parties with my kiddos.
When Kaitlin was asked, “Why do you want to work for CHCW-E?” She replied, “ I want to be part of an organization that makes a way for people to get the care and support they need to live a healthy life. It’s exciting to get to do that for moms, little ones and their families at such a critical and sometimes vulnerable time. “

Kaitlin aspires to… “listen more than I speak.”
