COVID Testing at Yakima Pediatrics
At Yakima Pediatrics, our goal is to ensure our patients’ needs are met to the best of our ability. As you can imagine, the demand for COVID testing has been high in recent months. We have been prioritizing those patients with symptoms and patients under 3 months of age for visits and testing.
COVID Testing Limitations
Due to the high demand for testing, we are unfortunately only able to accommodate visits and testing for patients with symptoms and/or patients under 3 months of age (who, due to age, are not able to get tested at community sites).
Patients who do not have symptoms and require or request testing (including exposure to COVID without symptoms, testing to return to school/work, testing for travel requirements, or other similar scenarios) will need to contact 211 or visit https://www.yakimacounty.us/2418/COVID-19-Testing-Site-Information to find a community testing site.
Please don’t hesitate to call us with any questions you may have. We are still available for well child checks, sick appointments (including concerns about COVID), and other concerns you may have. We are also offering COVID and influenza vaccines. Please call to schedule.
