Meet Our Fellows

We recruit a diverse group of fellows every year. Our self-directed learners bring a wide range of experience and interests to the postdoctoral fellowship program, as well as divergent goals for future practice plans.

SHANICE SANTA OLIVO, PHD

Behavioral Health Fellow

The friendliness, warmed, and how welcoming the community is was what brought me to CWFM. As well as the opportunity to provide services in Spanish and English. Yakima of course is beautiful!

BRENNA BOYD, PSYD

Behavioral Health Fellow

Working at CWFM with our phenomenal BHC team and medical team gives me the opportunities to grow and share these passions in my day-to-day work.

Our Commitment to Excellence

Fellows will be exposed to any and all problems that fall into the health/mental health spectrum, from the straightforward to the very complex. There is no better place than a community health center to gain experience with a wide variety of patient health and wellness concerns!

Due to CHCW’s emphasis on training, a major component of the fellowships will be providing evidence based interventions.  Fellows will have access to tools (e.g., UpToDate) that will allow them to quickly identify research regarding specific concerns and interventions.

Our Fellowship's Importance

We are always trying to evolve at CHCW. We are thrilled about the evolution with the postdoctoral fellowship. Watch this video for a brief history of our fellowship program at CHCW.

Our Alumni

We adore our alumni network! We love that we continue to hear from our alumni, and hear that they communicate with each other. We look forward to our growing network, and adding to our map!
